ABOUT RAWMONA'S KITCHEN
We are a dedicated gluten free, organic kitchen + bakery offering tamales, baked sweets + other artisan Mexican treats. Our mission is to remember where we come from—the stories, the land, and the hands that taught us. The ingredients we use are symbols of Mexican land and its spirit, and we honor the magic + sacredness in fruit, corn, cacao, vanilla bean, and chile. Since the time of the Mayan civilization, and to this day, food plays an integral part of Mexican culture, spirituality + rituals. From family meals to larger ceremonies, gatherings and altars for Dia de Muertos, there is always a reason to cook, gather, eat, celebrate + enjoy the simple moments that make life magical.

Rawmona, you could say, is the artist in me. She represents the creative inner child that lives within each + every one of us. This little one believes in the magic of the Universe + deeply understands where she comes from, and her interconnectedness to all living beings. Rawmona’s Kitchen is the space for Rawmona to create food intended to not only nourish your body, mind and soul, but to remind you of the wisdom you carry within + your innate capacity to heal through your connection to the Natural kingdom.
Besides Rawmona’s Kitchen, I also make Nature-based art for Rawmona’s Craft Shop and offer in-person workshops + experiences at Rawmona’s Journeys.
