artisan MEXICAN sweets + TREATs MADE with mamma earth’s magic

At Rawmona’s Kitchen, our mission is to celebrate and honor the deep connection between food, art and nature —a relationship rooted in tradition, creativity, love, and magic.

We create delightful treats in small batches using organic, wholesome ingredients. Our food is free from gluten, dairy, grains, soy, refined sugar, seed oils, and artificial colorings or flavorings. We infuse every bite with loads of love and a touch of magic, drawing inspiration from the deep connection to the Earth passed down by my ancestors, honoring sacred ingredients like corn, cacao, vanilla, and chile, all while having lots of fun.

But this isn’t just about delicious food.

This is about remembering where we come from—the stories, the land, and the hands that taught us. Food is more than a meal—it’s an art form: the slow-cooked, flavor-layered, made-by-hand kind of art. Every tamal, cake, and treat we make carries with it stories, sacred ingredients, and a touch of whimsy. The ingredients we use are not just food but symbols of the land and its spirit, and they all tell a story.

Food has been an integral part of Mexican culture and spirituality since the time of the Mayan civilization. It is believed that after creating the Universe, the Gods created man from corn. Food was part of sacred rituals, used as offerings to the Gods. To this day—from cacao circles to Día de Muertos—food remains central to ceremonies, altars, and gatherings. We are always finding reasons to cook, gather, eat, celebrate, and enjoy the simple moments that make life magical.

At my family’s Hacienda, my grandfather and family grew mangos, rice, chiles, and all sorts of produce. My grandmother made everything from scratch, using eggs, milk, and other fresh ingredients from the ranch to make butter, ice cream, jam, the best arroz con leche, and the most delicious food. It’s no surprise that I started baking and creating in the kitchen as a child, always dreaming of one day owning a farm to grow food and a bakery where people would come together to enjoy and celebrate the simplest moments that make life magical.
